Valhalla Adventures, L.L.C., was founded in 2001 by Fred Dietrich, and became operational in 2004. After years of skiing in the Whitefish area, Fred dreamed of accessing the large amount of skiable terrain in the Whitefish Range. With a lot of dedication and hard work, Fred turned his dream into a reality by forming the powder cat ski company known as Valhalla Adventures.

Valhalla Adventures currently operates two snow cats and a 30 ft. backcountry yurt to service our customers. While a day spent skiing or boarding in the backcountry is always an exhilarating adventure, much of our terrain is ideal for the first-time or family cat ski experience. Our license gives us access to a variety of terrain, including inviting, low-angle slopes, which allow us to customize your trip based on your level of experience.

Located in the Stillwater State Forest in NW Montana near Whitefish and Glacier National Park, Valhalla Adventures has over 35 square miles of terrain in the Whitefish Range. This prime location gives our guests access to the services and ski area of the Whitefish Mountain Resort as well as amenities in the neighboring town of Whitefish.
